BABY WIPES
A must have for everything…from cleaning your workspace and hands to using in some really cool techniques.
COLUZZLE
Mark your coluzzle rings with a permanent marker (either by numbering each or by using different colors of permanent markers to draw all the way around each ring).
COLORED EMBOSSING
Stamp first in versamark and then onto your dye ink pad. Emboss with clear embossing powder.
MOUNTING STAMPS
If you have an image with words underneath it that aren’t too close to the image, you might want to split them up when mounting them so they can be used individually.
PHONE BOOKS
Use a phone book for messy projects such as gluing or stamping with classic stamp pads where the stamping will be larger than the cardstock. Just open up a new page of the phone book each time you need to make a mess. When done, open the next page and on and on….This avoids messy glue stick glue, etc on your work space which could end up on your finished card.
SCRAP BOOK
Take some page protectors and put them in a binder. Use the tag punch to make a tag with a scrap of each color and staple the tag to the side of each page protector to easily identify the colors of scraps that will be in it.
Put all scraps of similar color within each page protector in the binder. This is an inexpensive and easy way to keep your scraps organized and at your fingertips when you want them.
STAMPING ON HANDMADE PAPER
If you want a detailed image (or text) on you handmade paper just stamp it on white tissue paper with permanent ink. Then lay this on your wet handmade paper. It will adhere to your paper and you will not see the tissue! No more worry about bumpy paper not stamping well!
SWIFFER CLOTH
Keep a Swiffer sweeper cloth handy to clean up excess glitter, etc from cardstock and table.
TOOTHPICKS
Keep a box of toothpicks nearby to add glue or Crystal Effects to small items.
VERSAMARK ON SCISSORS
Wipe scissor blades gently in Versa Mark pad before cutting your stamps, this keeps your blades from getting sticky.
ZIPLOCK CONTAINERS
Keep your embossing powders and beeds, etc in Ziplock containers. Leave a small spoon inside the container as well to use as a scoop. This makes it easier to use and easier to clean up
