Oh So Cute Penguins in the Snow!

I take thousands of pictures (and yes, for those of you who switched over to digital and are a few years behind on printing them out, I am one of you :-), many  are pictures of cards that I have been taken at workshops or regionals that I have gone to in the past. 

This card was one of those pictures as I just LOVED the cute little penguins in the snow so I decided to make it tonight (as always, if you are the original designer of the card, let me know and I will post your name and a link to your site if you have one).

The card is quick and easy to make but so cute!  It uses a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of Whisper White folded in half as the base, a 3 1/4" x 4" piece of Night of Navy and a 3" x 4" piece of Whisper White torn to make the snow on the ground.  Just stamp the penguins (from the Stampin' Up Stamp set 'Wild about you') and cut them out, stamp snow on the Night of Navy piece with the Itty Bitty Background stamp and White Craft Ink, tear the Whisper White piece and sponge Night of Navy on, stamp the sentiment and the card is done!  For those of you that would rather have a visual, see the video below.

We have had two little girls my daughter's ages (3, 6) staying with us this past week so we have been able to experience having four kids!  It's been wonderful but also a bit tiring (especially as I had some kind of flu bug and my husband was away till late at night...not the best timing :-), but we have had some great girl's nights crafting!  I can't wait to show you what they have been creating as the week's gone on...so much fun!  Anyways, the videos this week will be short and sweet :-)  Thanks for stopping by!

I love this cute card and I really do like to tear and use layers too! I rarely remember to do it. I also love your videos. What I like most is that you aren't whipping though things and people can really follow you.

I found your viodea is the best, easiest to follow. The penguin in the snow is the cutest, I had to clean up my room to find my penguin stamp so I can make one. Thanks for the inspiration. Keep sending your great works our way.
