I really love using spectrum pads and so when Stampin' Up stopped selling them awhile back I decided to create my own. It's a very similar idea to the baby swipe or striped swipe technique done by the very talented Beate at Splitcoast here but I don't use reinkers, I use markers, a baby wipe and the end of a stamp pad. The quick video will show you what I mean :-)
If you want to try it out, here are a few Spectrum Pad color examples to try:
Blue Frost: Brilliant Blue, Ballet Blue, Bashful Blue, Ballet Blue, Brilliant Blue
Cotton Candy: Rose Red, Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose, Rose Red
Celebration: Only Orange, Pink Passion, Lovely Lilac, Brilliant Blue, Green Galore
Pumpkin Patch: Really Rust, Ruby Red, Only Orange, More Mustard, Old Olive
Late November: More Mustard, Really Rust, Old Olive, Perfect Plum, Not Quite Navy
Taffy: Almost Amethyst, Mellow Moss, Creamy Caramel, Blush Blossom, Barely Banana
Twist: Yoyo Yellow, Green Galore, Glorious Green, Ballet Blue, Lovely Lilac
Fiesta: Summer Sun, Real Red, Orchid Opulence, Ballet Blue, Taken with Teal
that is a terrific idea, and the video was so concise.. Wish there were more video tutorials. Thanks for the Spectrum color combinations.
Really appreciate this tutoral.

Waht a understandable video! Thanks a lot for your help and explanations. There is only one thing I would like to know. Does this technique work with any kind of paper or just with glossy paper? God bless you!. MarĂa Consuelo
